When I bought my car it had some speedo issues (fixed) & I bought a cheap garmin etrex gps with a lighter adapter for a temporary speedo and it works great. This thing gives average speed & max speed also trip time, Has anyone used one of these to time 1/4 mile? Seems to me that I could set a flag, drive 1/4 mile, set another flag & it should give me a pretty close max speed & 1/4 mile time.
