Gas mileage

I've the same setup as you, Vett Boy; LS3, 6-speed, standard suspension. I have averaged 21.3mpg over 3400 miles. That is about 65% highway driving. In town, I average about 17mpg. My best average over a single tank was 28.6mpg. That was cruising up I-5 from California to Washington. I was averaging 70mph -75mph. According to the "instant fuel economy" on the DIC, I was getting 33mpg at 70mph. Gotta love 6th gear! :upthumbs

What your the only one man enough to drive an LS3 std? :D

Well, my M6 is a 2006, so I have the LS2.

But if you want a comparison, I can tell you that my mileage is similar to twiget's.
:)

With gas rolling back to $2.50 per gallon it shouldn't concern me but my C5 topped out a almost 34 mpg.I'm just getting a feel for gas budget.:D

Around 28.5 on the freeways at 70-ish and 19 in town unless I play with it.

08 vert, NPP, loud mode.

Jason-
I don't know about the C6, but the C5 bases the "average" fuel economy on recent data. It does not keep an average that goes back more than a few hundred miles. Maybe c4c5specialist can tell us the details on the C6.

I put it there because of the ID thread. It is the flying spaghetti monster and his noodley appendage. :D

Oh, I recognized it right away. :D As a matter of fact... we had a past member (who is no longer with us) that used the subject in a debate I was paticipating in sometime past. I think the reference was s'posed to get under my skin but instead I congratulated him on being brave enough to reveal his choice of faith and asked if he'd truly been touched by a noodley appendange. He chose not to respond for some reason. :chuckle
