gaskets

I was wondering..... Are felpro or other high priced gaskets worth the extra money over a stock Detroit kit etc. ? I have a race motor that will be seeing new gaskets every 6 months.. so i was wondering if i should just use a set of $60 gaskets, rather than $120 for the ProTech type.

And is it bad if im using a new stock oil pump on a 7500 RPM engine?

In my opinion Felpro is THE gasket. I always use them.

If it were my engine I would op for a high volume oil pump. even in a near stock motor running those kind of rpms.
