What gearbox is this.The taihousing has a Borg Warner badge.
The number onthe box is 13 04 066 903.and WK2682.Please advise

If the main case casting number is 13 04 065 (not 066) 903, it's a 1979 model year (October 1978 build) B-W Super T-10; should also show the following casting numbers:

Tailhousing: 13 04 066 901
Side Cover: 13 04 097 901
Rear Bearing Retainer: T89C-6A

The OEM Corvette version of the Super T-10 had an additional 2-digit code painted on the main case, just below the side cover, to identify the 1st gear ratio. HS = 2.64:1, HW = 2.43:1.

Tail housing:Aluminum- number 13-04-066-903
Gearbox;Aluminum-13-04-065-903 /WGDW/Fpc-3
gearbox elsewhere;MLT7802/10.6.78/2 29W116672
Gearbox cover;C 11 78 /Q5/ 13-04-097-901
It has 26 splines with 3 grooves.
If this is a super T10 could it be original to this 1978 silver anniversary?i.e Where M20's standard for this car.

The main case and side cover are the same as the Super T-10 used in the Corvette, but the tailhousing is from another application; the Corvette tailhousing ended in -901 from '74-'78, and in -905 from '79-'81; don't know what application used the -903.

The latest Colvin charts show the codes below the side cover identifying the ratio differences - they may be in error.
