Glass Targa Top Replacement for C4

I have a 1988 Corvette coupe with a red Targa top. This top is the OEM top.
If I wanted to replace this top with a glass top, would it be a perfect fit, or would I need adjustments to make it work? If adjustments are needed, would these changes negate my use of the original top? Thanks for your help

I have both tops, and swap them over according to the weather, the glass top gets a bit hot in bright sun . All the fittings are the same.

Sure it would fit Ok. If you buy a used one or buy one to use as a core just be aware that the top's frame design changed in 86..and it changed slightly again in 89. I do not know from personal experience if 89 and up are interchangeable but most vendors only make a distinction between late and early 86. So presumably any 86 and up C4 roof would fit your 88.

And YES they are adjustable for a perfect fit....but All adjustments are made to the ROOF not your car so the OEM one will be interchangeable.
Most replacement roofs do have instructions. You may have to tweak it but its easy. You just adjust the bracket screws when the car is on a level surface.
