I would love to know if anyone out there has purchased, from Mid America. the 'sunshade' that attaches by static electricity to the inside of the glass top? Has anyone used it? Does it work?

I'm usually over on the C-4 side since I have an 88 but I saw this thread and wanted to let you know that I have bought the static-cling sunshade for my car from MAD. It works fine and I can definitely tell a difference. I found that laying the top on a blanket and then cleaning it as directed helped. And it's much easier to put it on with it upside down than trying to do it while on the car. There are pinholes in it so you can still see somewhat out the top. I'm satisfied with it.

Glass top for C-5

Thanks for the reply...... I haven't heard of anybody that has used one....... Now I know it works and is not just a gimmick! Thanks... Lyn:s

I do have it on right now. It does create some odd things clinging to the top, dog hair, lint etc... also does a number on hair if you are tall. As a cheaper alternative it really does keep the down. Saw another idea on another forum that is pretty interesting.:pat

Just wondering what the other idea was that you saw... Was it related to the shade for the glass top? Lyn:Steer

I have had it on my Y2K since it was new and I love it, it does a pretty good job in blocking out the sun, and to me it is worth the money........ :beer

I have my sunshade on order and am looking forward to getting it before summer! Thanks for the testimonial, sounds like it works great. Lyn;worship
