I'm just reading about this '71 Vette rebuild, and he said that he "glued" the body back onto the frame. How does this work? No more bolts? Can somebody go into an explanation about this? Thanks! :D

TR - don't know what you're reading or where, but I've never heard of "gluing" the body back on the frame; can you post a reference? He may be talking about bonding the body panels back on the birdcage structure, and calling the birdcage the "frame".

I know Chris', but I thought you said that it was Chris' buddy that was doing that car.

Stallion,

If you look at that site closely, you will see that what they were talking about was gluing the body panels back on the birdcage frame, not the chassis. You would never glue the body to the frame, it would take away your ability to adjust the body via shims under the mounts.

Oh okay, I see what you mean. Thanks for clearing that up!
