GM CD player installation

Hello,

This is an introduction and a technical question all in one. Maureen Milner-Waller recommend this site to me.

My name is Joe, from Detroit. Maybe some of you remember me from VetteChat and VetteNet as 'Joe68'

I am into our '67 Camaro RS/SS , '67 Chevy Stepside and 2000 GMC Sierra . The closest I have been to owning a Corvette is the '68 427 Coupe my ex-fiance owned. Boy I miss that car

Now for the tech stuff; My buddy with a 2000 Corvette Conv wants to give me his GM/Delco 12 CD changer from his car to install in my sisters 2001 Corvette Conv

I believe there is a jumper harness from GM (I am working on getting that Part Number) that I will need to make this work.

Can anyone provide any insight on this swap?
