My brother got hold of a 4 CD set called " GM Techline v.2002.12" :) It is suppose to have all 1989- 2002 Vehicle Service manauls , recall notices and so forth. Includes all GM brands including Corvette. :) Has any one seen this before and if so does it have useful info. for our Corvette Cummunity?

HI there,
That is GM service information, that is not licensed for release.
This is for GM service dealerships only, and should not be for public release. We respect GM trademark, and copyright rules.
Any posting of this information, without the written consent of GM is a violation.
I am sorry, but the CAC will respect GM in this matter.

I don't think "rph b/b 01" was suggesting he/whe was going to post material from the Tech Line CDs here on the AC.

He was asking if the information is useful.

The answere is hell yeah, it's useful. On those CDs you've got just about everything that's in a factory service manual plus, most of the service manual updates.

Hang on to those babies and use them wisely...which, of course, means don't post the content on the I'net.

My apologies, RPH, and Hib. You are correct, very useful.
I am sorry if I came off hard, however, we just want to maintain the integrity of the forum.

Hello from Australia rph b/b 01, just wandering if you could drop me an e-mail to brian@corvette.com.au .

Great site guys, I am finding it very helpful over here.

Thanks, Gav.

I guess when I said " is this useful for our Corvette Community" C4C5 might of thought I was going to post it. There is no way I would do that. I really just wanted to know if it would have useful info. for me and my brother ( both vette owners) and our friends. These disk are packed full of info for ALL GM lines. We just wanted to know if was worth our time to extract just the Corvette info. for our use. By all means I do not have the knowledge that C4C5 has with Corvettes and even with the info from the disk I would still ask C4C5 for any help. Gav I do not give out my e-mail address so if you have a question please feel free to ask it on this thread.

hi rph, I work for a company in australia that imports & repairs corvettes & chev trucks, we don't have chev dealers over here so this kind of info would be very handy for us. Any training info would also be very useful, we normally have to figure things out the hard way.

Thanks again for your time, hope you can help.
regards, Gav.
