Question: GM Vehicle Inquiry System

Has anyone asked for information from you Chevy dealership? I know you can do it for C5s and C6s but how about a 96 C4?

Im going to a dealership near my house tomorrow, but they are snakes there and might just tell me it costs, or they cannot get info for my year, or some bs...

But if you guys have any experience it will help my journey to Chevy!

About 6 years ago I had GM get what they could for my 1978. It wasn't more than a bunch of grainy sales material photocopies. Perhaps they can do better with newer Vettes.

I think there are folks who can do that for you but there is a cost associated for folks who do research. I'm not sure about dealers though.

I don't know what one could get from dealers, free or otherwise, but I do know you can get copies of your C4's window sticker and build sheet from the National Corvette Museum. Although there's a fee involved it's not unreasonable.

I've seen and heard some great advice here, but the best thing you can do is buy the FSM, best money you can spend. Even if you can't understand it completely you can ask a better question to get a better answer.
