as of 4:00pm the DA is sitting about -189. baro right now is 30.19 and rising. with my calculations at 9pm we should be around -898 if the baro keeps rising to 30.40 which it could hit or even better!

i'm hoping to crack into some 12's. the 13.18 came in 700 DA plus i left alittle on the table when i hit the 13.18 so i'm hoping for a strong 12 second pass :D

i'll let ya'll know!

long story short i think my mufflers are holding back some horsepower. i'll go into this in more detail after work tomorrow.

i will try and make the track today if i can but i'm running on very little sleep since yesterday.
 
You didn't miss much at Capitol, except for a lot of waiting around. It was over 2 hours before we got in our one run. A 350Z went sideways and hit the wall - I was told he was OK. Lots of broken engines/trans putting oil down.

i was there car is running off. haven't pinned pointed it down yet but thinking the mufflers scrubbed some HP.

best run was a 13.19 with a 1.82 60' at 103 mph. down 3 mph :( it's either a muffler, bent pushrod keeping a valve opened, or injectors are clogged/sticking.
 
Yea Mic it might be the injectors. I had two that were leaking and none of them passed the flow test, but from what I could tell the car ran pretty good. The car only has like 52,000 miles. I hope you get it fixed.

reason i'm thinking injectors or a stuck valve (although it don't tick or anything) is because it's running real rich and failed emissions by 300+ on hydro carbons. i figured the hydro carbons would be close but that is alot.

also on cold start it's a pita to start, sorta like the plugs are fouled. starts and idles rough around 400 rpm give it alittle gas she clears right up and cleans up then idles nice.

i think it's time for 24 pounders but won't pull everything apart till winter. this could explain my 3 mph loss at the track if 1 or more injectors are hanging open though. at 3000 rpm hold you can hear a slight miss like 1 cylinder is loading up too much. this is why i'm leaning towards an injector. will run some cleaner thru it tonight and see what happens.

from what the car ran back in march which was a 13.18 with a 1.85 60' at 105.84 mph and backed it up with a 13.19 with a 1.85 60' and 105.74 mph pass the car should of went a 12.8x or better at about 107 or 108 mph last friday because of better air. in the 13.19 run i was +2 mph in the 1/8th and over shifted 5300 rpm into 3rd so it would of hit 106 mph and possibly a 13.0x run back in march.

something is definetly not right but i'll keep at it till i find it.
