Just finishing the engine work and am now starting to look for a good body and paint shop in the central Maryland area. Does anyone out there have a couple of good leads or can give me a heads up on who to stay away from?

Check out Tony's Corvette Shop in Gaithersburg, Md. He has a web-site. Does total restorations.

Thanks for the lead, I'll check out his website today and try to stop by and see him within the next week or so.

I'll second the nomination for Tony's Corvette Shop. He does some of the best restoration work available. He is also heavily involved with NCRS so he knows every little detail and is one of the most "perfectionist" people I've come across.
I had somebody back into my '65 a month after I got it and sent it to Tony to repair. Luckily it was not major damage but the car had just had a 4-year restoration previously completed on it so it was in great shape before the accident. When Tony finished with it it looked even better than before the guy hit me.
Any bodywork I need I'll send my car to him again.

I triple the nomination for Tony's Corvette Shop. I live in Mount Airy. Everyone I know around here with a Corvette recommends Tony's.
