If he had a new girlfriend, wouldn't his eyesight improve?

;LOL

That's great!

Now all we need is big numbers painted on the bolt heads and we will be all set.

I'm so old and feeble, I'm waiting for something like Cialis for arms and legs. I have had to take vehicles to the dealer three times since new years to do something I no longer had the flexibility or strength to handle. Wait a minute, didn't I just roll my SUV 7 times with no seat belts and get thrown out on the last roll at the beginning of December? Yeah, that's why I'm not movin' real well; hand me another pain pill, I can handle that!

Top ten list for having the dealer (or someone else) do it:

10) Old corvette owners make more per hour than dealer tech rates,
9) You don't need any cream hand wash goop to get the grease and grime off your hands when its done,
8) No nick, cuts, scrapes, on hands, arms or face from minor accidents,
7) No need to buy the same part twice because you messed the first one up trying to get it on,
6) No need to buy another special tool you may never use again,
5) No more sore back or rear from falling off the creeper seat,
4) No left over parts when everything is reassembled,
3) Wife/GF/Mistress/Kids/Buddies/Etc. do not complain of neglect while you are working,
2) No more long periods without car because of projects "delayed" while in progress,
1) The work always looks professional!

Man, I did that last year while in phase two of my engine project. I only fell about four or five inches, but I landed right smack-dab on my tailbone. I thought I was going to pass out it hurt so friggin' bad! :hb

You have to watch the Craftsman guarantee. Its lifetime still on hand tools like wrenches, but on virtually everything else the guarantee periods are often shorter than most competing brands.

I will say I have only had one Craftsman tool fail - a 1/4" socket extension where the little ball froze in place, and the Sears clerk just pulled one off the shelf and said we're sorry for the inconvenience - no paperwork or anything.

yeah, but K-mart?????

I have had pretty decent luck with Craftsman, my favorite brand till the K-mart Craftsman buyout. You shouldn't be able to go bankrupt, write off billions in debt, then spend 12billion to buy out another company.... just the principle of the whole thing. Maybe they should have gone ahead and paid off their old debts. I guess they did it within the system, but I think the system is broke.

I've had, a 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" rachets go bad, and your right, the clerk just goes and gets em off the shelf to replace em.

I keep beraking a 1/2 drive craftsman ratchit. I have had it for 22+ years so I will get another gear set for it. broke thier wrenches and a breaker bar too. Never broke any of me cornwells tho.
