good price?

Oohhhhh Yyeeaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!

Too good to be true!!!!!!!!

Just make sure that they are round!

they are from a friend of mines father who has 4 vettes and more money than he knows what to do with, konwn him forever and he has offered them to me.

so definately do it?

Horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that they would look horrible on your vette but would look fantastic on mine!

The problem is you would have to get a wheel adapter and make sure that the size tire would fit your car.

I'm telling you that they would look better on my vette!

Alan

p.s. Good luck and don't look back!

assuming they haven't kissed every curb in your town, that price is the price for ONE new wheel (or just about, nayway). no the deal isn't a good one, it is a GREAT one!!

yea its for 4 wheels, one wheel has a tiny scratch but otherwise they are flawless. just inspected them last night!

Z06 wheels look great on C4's. I say go for it!

You'll need the spacer kit to mount them on an early C4.
The 84-87 has a different wheel offsets than the 88-96.

I think I should have a look. Give me the location of the rims and I will let you know if thay will work on your car :D

What about Speedometer issues? can you do something that will make it accurate? those new wheels are much larger than the early 16" (my 86 has 16")

The speedometer gearing can be changed. I understand it is a fairly simple task and not expensive. I have not done it. Someone here has the specific gear info for different setups.

I can tell you that when I changed to 17's with 35 315's on my car it's almost dead on 10% faster reading on the speedo than I am actually going :w It also effects your logged distance traveled (odometer) and your gas milage displays, not at the same 10% though :confused

Hell yes it is. That is if they are not damaged in any way.

The 255 50 16 tires on your '86 have a diameter of 26.1".
Many 255 45 17 tires have the exact same diameter so the speedo reading would be unchanged.
I think 285 40 17's have a very close tire diameter.
