Well, so far so good. I traded my 90 back out from TZracer, as in the same moment I was able to deliver is now in one main piece 71 back to him.

TZ worked on my suspension following up from where I just put all the new stuff in.

She drives down the road nice and straight, feels great, very tight and smooth. The 3.75 rear gear is fantastic. It is a noticeable change, yet it is not radical by any means.

I messed up and down shifted when I was trying to upshift (note---street racing is bad), and nearly through myself through the windshield. It was not pretty, and since I was about two miles from the house I did not really get to run it long enough to see what if anything I broke.

So, as long as it survived that, everything is ready to rock and roll!

Chris you will need to hone you skills again rowing through the gears, as a 3:75 rear is gonna keep you much busier, with that shift lever :Steer

Heres hoping that downshift (Insert instant redline moment) didn't grab you by the short hairs. Thats how I broke a roller rocker stud in Thunder!

Is Dave setting you up for Solo runs with the 90? Does Dave have his BB ready to shoehorn into Bruiser?

Posse Bro :w

Dave tweaked me in, and scaled the car, but it is not "race" ready yet.

His engine is still in shipping from here and there. I would guess it will start to take shape soon. Santa brought him all kinds of goodies to top it off.

I told you that I did that didn't I Chris? I powershifted from third to second on the strip at LACR in November. I don't think I hurt anything either, but I'll know shortly.

Rev limiters work great for preventing the engine from over-revving itself, but when the rear wheels are turning the engine... Well that's a different story, eh? :eyerole

_ken :w

I drove it to work yesterday, and am happy to report that all systems are on line and functioning 100%.

I did however loose control for a split second on the way home with a spirited blip of the throttle in first gear. It started going sideways, so I counter steered, let off the throttle, snapped second, and applied throttle again. Ooops, those 3.75 rear gears were going to work, multipling my torque more than I was used to with the 3.33 gears, and the back end went up in smoke again! No worries, just a quick counter steer, foot off the throttle, and a head check of close traffic to make sure no boys in blue got a peek a the shananigens. The guy behind me opened his sun roof and thrust his arms out giving me the clinched fist in the air pumping action. I simply convinced myself that he was cheering me on, not the alternative.

Good thing the roads were dry. I am now about 50 total miles on the car with all the new goodies and more or less having to re-learn how to drive it.

So far so good. She is strong, smooth, and lightening quick!

Now you need to get the PROM tuned to that Miniram motor to unlock the rest of it potential...
