Well, today a couple friends and I got to work on the 81'. We tested the compression all the way around. It ranged from 205 to 220....smiles on this face. After that we got the intake & the heads off and everything looked great. Monday the intake & the heads are off to Honeycutt Racing to be ported & polished. I am also adding new double valve springs, rebuilding the front & rear suspension w/ new springs, new power steering lines, a new polished alum. dipstick, new Optima battery w/new mounting hardware & cable ends, switching the head & intake bolts to ARP's. We also started to install the Shark Bar II harness system with G-Force straps. The plan is to be done in three weeks.
