All the amazing good stuff and only 36,000 original miles. ZR1 aftermarket chromes with Kumho tires as well as the original wheels and tires are included as are two car covers and lots of great Vette stuff .. complete set of '91 GM Service Manuals .. original brochure .. awesome colour.. Les and I attended the 50th in Bowling Green at the end of June and there were only two others in Metallic Turquoise that we saw all week.. want to be different?? This is the one!! This is not a Canadian spec car and as a result does not have those annoying automatic headlight dimmers. It is a US spec car.

Sounds like a terrific deal! It's a beautiful color, and we know that it is well-maintained and is probably the cleanest Corvette in Ottawa. There's probably $20,000 in Zaino products alone in that car! :cool

Yup!

I've been viewing pics of Lilly for about a year now and we've shared pics back and forth. Lilly is about 16 inches taller than my horse, whom I ride bareback, I'd never be able to get on a horse Lilly's size without a stump, lift or a fence to climb on!

Yes, I do.. we've e-mailed back and forth a few times... you are so close to my acceptable lower limit.. another 2500 would do it!!! Have you shown your wife the pictures? Has she read the story? I'll even throw in the bears for 17500! This car was reviewed by an appraiser for insurance purposes and deemed by him to be "benchmark" .. this is the highest category he has ever placed on a Vette. It also won "Top Vette" honours in Sacketts Harbour N.Y. two years ago. Has only been on the trip to Bowling Green since!! It is really looking for the right owner now.

I've saved the car for you Demoman... It really needs to be somewhere that has 100's of interested buyers passing by and one of them really sees what this car has in the way of options / condition / mileage etc. It's a real bargain for a superb automobile! The End

Finally, after more than one year, Les and I sold the Vette. Purchaser is an enthusiast from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in Canada.
We literally spent over $1000.00 hard earned Canadian Dollars (about $479.50 US!) advertising it for sale over the time period it was for sale..
Purchaser flew in and drove it home.. 33 hours. Took it to his local Chebby dealer to have it all checked out.. they told him they have never seen a nicer used Vette.. He's tickled pink!! We would be too if he didn't bargain so hard!!
Oh well .. at least it's gone to a new home and will be looked after!!
So ends this chapter..
Heidi.. Lily's broken and is well on her way to a driving career as well.. What a picture!!
Ken.. I sent him down the road with an armful of Zaino so he could keep her looking good!.. Bet Rob still has his .. unused!!!

Congrats on the sale of Goldilocks. Sounds like she's gone to a great home!

Glad to hear Lilly is doing great under saddle and soon will be in harness. I have started over again with a 2 year old filly. Her name is Querida (Spanish for darling) but I just call her Q. I plan on training her myself.
