So, I was thinking about how I used to get under my trucks to inspect/lube or replace heim joints, shackles, tie rods, pitman arms, etc.

One of the things I did was hit lots of linkage zerk fittings with my trusty Lincoln grease gun.

I was under my C6 that has 96,XXX miles, looking at all the hinges, steering joints A-arms, spindles and thought, "Hey, why doesn't anyone ever lube these areas?"

With this in mind, I got a syringe from a diabetic neighbor and thought I could inject grease directly thru the rubber bellows, lubing the joint.
Here's what I used...

Gotta really push hard to get the grease to flow, but it works.

Don't know if it'll make a difference, but it's more lubed now, than it's ever been!

The grease I used is Red-I #2 (NLGI)

Sticky stuff.
