Hi everyone, just got in from our first Carlisle experience! Met a couple guys we parked across from on Sunday who told me about this site and I definitely wanted to check it out.
The 2 vryqwk/vrykwk's were right there, and one gentleman from Winston-Salem NC who mentioned he was a moderator here.

A little bit about me: I've been a Vette owner personally for just over a month now, picked up 2004 Z06 Z16 #640 in early July. My mom got her 2nd Vette (a 2006 LS2 red/black convertible w/ black&gold stripes) just over a year ago after my father passed away and left her money to go get her Vette; her first one was a '69 Daytona Yellow that was lost in a divorce back in the early 70's.

Great to be here, looking forward to meeting you all, and being a part of the Corvette family :)

Welcome to the CAC!

The only sad note in your introduction was the news of your father's passing: my condolences to you and your family.

Brighter news was that you've met Guy, Remo and Catbert... all good people and great members here at the CAC!

I think you'll likely enjoy your time here - we've got some fantastic Corvette people, knowledgeable, friendly and quick to share advice and experiences. You'll also find we're a "family" friendly Corvette site so invite your mom to drop in too.

Don't forget to wave!

It was great meeting a couple other Tarheels at Carlisle. I hope you enjoy the site. Love your cars and corvette enthusiasm! Maybe I'll see you at a local show or next year at Carlisle - same place, all weekend.

Welcome to the CAC Forum Z06PACE. :w We live just down the road from you in Chapel Hill.

Do you know about the informal gathering of Corvettes, and other cars at Brier Creek? It is the first Saturday of the month from around 9 am till noon. Hope to see you there sometime.

Welcome to the CAC!

Sorry we(my wife and I) missed you on Sunday as we had left early on Sunday to head home...

any way Welcome to CAC!!! enjoy!!!:thumb:thumb

Welcome to the CAC, glad that you ran into Rich and he told you about us. You'll love the Z06. Now you will have to post a photo of the Z06 and use it as an avatar, and have your mom sign up with us too. Hope to see you at Cruise Fest next June. Your mom apparently knows how to pick the best color for her corvette, but I am biased.

thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I need to find more than 10 minutes sometime this week to get my account/avatar all taken care of, but between work and prepping for a move it'll probably take a bit longer.
Ended up with hundreds (like 7 or 800) of pics from the weekend that I'm working on right now and will eventually get an album loaded up some time soon.
