Has anybody had any expeience with an H pipe on an early C3? I am thinking about installing one to equalize the pipes and get a better sound. I am putting on Flowmaster Delta 50's, and it has been recommended to use an H pipe. I was just curious about how much an H pipe would help.

Thanks for any info.

I have an H-pipe on mine and put it all on at the same time that I upgraded the exhaust so I can't tell you what impact it might have had. The rumor is increased low end torque, I think the x-pipe is top end, and a smoother exhaust note.

I used an H pipe with 2.5 Chambered pipes and it helped the tone. I didn;t notice any power improvement but I also made other mods at the same time.
I would use it,however the chambered pipes are crap-IMPO

The flowmaster technician I spoke with was pretty high on the H-pipe. I am not replacing the pipes, just the mufflers, but I think I am going to go ahead and have them install an H pipe when they put on the mufflers.
