Hairline split on dash

I've got a hairline split on my dash just above the vents and right below the rearview mirror. It's maybe a quarter of an inch. The car came with it and it hasn't changed in the two years I've had the car.

So, here's the question: should I leave it alone or try to fix?

I'd hate to make it worse. And, frankly I only notice it when I start the car and when I turn it off. The rest of the time I'm having too much fun driving.
