Half shaft/differential/strut color

Anybody know what color the half shafts, differential and struts are supposed to be on a '76?

They're "natural" - no paint. The spring was painted gray.

Wow, that looks great. Thanks for the picture. That's exactly what I was looking for. Was the differential sprayed with something like Cast Blast? If this is yours, where did you get the spring dividers? The best price I've seen is $35 at Muskegon. Also, is there name for that color grey or is it just light grey?
 
Yes, I sprayed the diff after rebuilding it with a light coat of cast-blast; "natural" is correct, but in this area it would rust in short order - it's only a minor deduction. The best spring liners come from GM, but they're VERY expensive; the next-best choice is from Quanta (www.quantaproducts.com) - they also have the correct spring paint. Paint the leaves before you re-assemble the spring with the new liners.
