50 years ago today I was at Fort Carson Colorado completing the first of my 4 years in the Army.

Spent 5 days in Quebec City as we do most 4th of July's .My wife was able to find the most expensive sweater in all of Canada .Love the food and people great except for the Asian tourists .I was surprised that the festivities for Canada day seemed a little scant .

You were in Quebec. They have their own separate 'national' holiday on June 24th.
