Has anyone put aftermarket tires/rims?

Has anyone put aftermarket tires/rims on their car? I want to do something different to mine and am looking at some 19's in the back and 18's in the front?
what happens to the sensors...how would I turn it off? anyone have some Pics?

Hi silver97 -

I did CCW 19's all around on My z06, and put the Z06 factory rims on our 99 coupe.

Most (if not all) aftermarket rims will accept the tire pressure sensors as they do not interfere with the bead etc.

All I can say is buy good rims an avoid being disappointed - cheap is not better in the case of rim IMO.

Mid-America (a CAC sponsoring vendor BTW...) offers a good selection of aftermarket rims in popular sizes. They have a replica of the new C6 Z06 wheel that looks sharp on a C5 -
