Has anyone tried adjusting their vacuum modulator?

Seriously, depending on your modulator's settings, engine performance modifications, etc it can make the car a house cat or a lion. If you are happy with your WOT but not your part throttle- check out your modulator. It may still have the factory setting for a smog era 350.

Since I've installed the new motor, I've had to make a lot of tweaks here and there. Earlier this week, I set my modulator three turns clockwise from B&M's stock setting and wow- that makes a HUGE difference. While it may seem like a lot, it really redefines the acceleration through the mid throttle and through the power band when tied to the TPI. I'll probably back it down a bit in the future, but for now it is a blast- literally.

Now, about that gas mileage...
