I was at a cruise-in last Saturday and one of the memebrs commented about he had to pull his radiator shroud off for some reason and when he did the amount of leaves and pine needles he found, so I am considering one of these. Thought I would try and fish for some feedback first though.

I'd guess it would hinder large things from lodging up in there......... probably wouldn't do much for smaller stuff.............

I believe most very small stuff would probably just get blown out, whereas pine needles will typically lodge in the radiator core as also will leaves gather and accumulate in the most inaccessable locations.

I think your right in your area.I'd highly recommend carefully use of a shop vac at least twice a year.Last time i did it i found a training bra,two pampers, and a gray wig.

I put one in last fall. I have been driving all over from pa to Dallas Tx and it's done a great job of keeping out things. I know because i just installed a Honker and had to disassemble everything to get in there the air condensor core had some grass in there (not much) I really believe it had not picked up anything since I installed the screen.

Oh, my! Where on Earth do you drive? :L

You know, you really should be more careful where you take your Corvette. After all, Corvettes are living, breathing things with feelings. How would feel being weighed down by soiled diapers?

Ya got me on that one Patrick !I have to tell you about this though.Brought the car back from Orlando and i was only gone for four days. Both the car and i we're tired after 20 hours of driving.Drove up to the garage at 4 am and opened the door. There sat a 1968 Saab with surprise written in the rear window. My vettes feelings we're crushed ! It was in the vettes space ! My wife had bought it for herself while i was gone . Even though i got my space back the vette is still p.o'd. Vettes do have feelings !

There great

I have one on my car and they work great. No papers or debris of any kind.

My C4 has a piece of screen picked up at the local hardware store for about $5.00. The screen has ¼ inch openings, and can be trimmed to exit size. It works fine. As stated earlier this stops all the big stuff and the small stuff passes right through. :)

After removing most of a Sunday Los Angeles Times, I too installed this screen. Does a great job, although I miss the funnies.....
Regards All~

Radiator screens.

Yes I have one on my 2004 Coupe ;I have no complaints.

I also have one on my 04..works good stops all the big stuff and most of the small stuff..I installed it after a 1 gal. milk jug went up mine..good thing someone drank all the milk :D

I bought one, I'm just waiting for it to arrive. I don't have any horror stories of sucking up anything (ie. milk jugs), let's just say this is a pre-emptive strike.

Damn! I hope they weren't all from the same person.
