After a wonderful summer day of cruising I go to get my top out of the back of my car and my hatch will not open. None of the 3 release buttons work and neither will my key FOB button. Thankfully I have the painted hard top (although it is the first time in 4 years it has been on) to put on before the rain came.

Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.........

There is a manual release cable hidden behind the carpet covering the rear bulkhead.

First, check your fuses. If they are of, you need to get the Factory Service Manual and follow the troubleshooting information for the rear hatch release system.

Thanks for the quick reply, I will try the cable, (hate the painted hard top being on) love looking at blue sky even on a cloudy day :D where is the fuse for the hatch? I looked in the pass side fuse panel but didn't see one identified as such.

Hatch is open

Well I was able to open the hatch with the cable. Thank you again Hib, I still need to figure out the problem but I can at lest get in the back now.
