Nowhere in the ad does it say anything about matching numbers, etc. And I agree: that is not a 454.

ebay policy is all bids over $15k need a credit card to validate you are real. I think all buy it now prices over $15k need a $500 deposit via paypal too.

I know this is not the case here, but When I had my motor built, the quy was building a 454sbc all aluminum block. All top of the line internals, the block shaved 100 pounds of the 350 cast block, awesome AFR heads, and a Barry gant 1050 carb. The thing was awsome. 720 hp no blower/no nit. just a great 454 small block. but then again it was around $16k

I am curious, anyone know the "insertion fee" Ebay wuld charge this clown on a 45k price?
