Getting ready to install myplugs and wires and now that I have headers I want to know what you all have done with routing your wires? underneath? wire loom holders up top on the valve covers? Thanks guy.....no ig shielding left either...

I got some looms from summit racing and hooked them to the valve covers, then went over the top with the wires. Everything worked fine except the very front passenger side the wire is close to one of the pipes, so I had to insulate it.

i purchased new wire on ebay. then routed ove the valve covers with new looms

I use cut to fit and route some over and some under, just remember not to let 5 and 7 run parrallelI usually run 7 around the back and up from underneath.
Caigsr.

I got these neat aluminum things and ran my wires along the sides of the valve covers. All seperated nicely and four wires all come in a rear of engine and just drop off to each plug on the way toward the front. No problems with melting or burning or crossfiring. Save the picture to your computer then blow it up a bit you can sort of see it. http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=52394

I put high temp silicone wires in the stock(underneath) position on my 81 with headers. Never had a problem even when I drove it from Maine to Kentucky.
