Have to do it--2002 Coupe for sale

Looking for a good home. For Sale: 2002 Coupe, Torch Red/Black, 6-speed, transparent roof panel, HUD, Bose stereo, 9K miles, garaged and covered, like new--$31K. Call me at work (757) 764-7230, or at home (757) 223-5922. Car is in southeastern VA. :cryAndy

Sorry to Hear about it!

I cannot believe that you still have the vette, the price and mileage are fantastic.

Plus the color is perfect.

Your price is a steal.

Good luck selling, but l'm sure it will be gone real soon.

Decided to keep it!

With more than a little relief, I've decided to take my Corvette off the market and keep it. I had just bought a '72 Cutlass convertible, a car I've always admired and wanted, and with my Toyota Highlander figured I needed three cars like I needed another ex-wife. :L But I think I'm going to give my Highlander to my daughter when she finishes her MS next spring--and that leaves only two, so the Corvette will become my daily driver. Anyone have positives or negatives about using their C-5 as a daily driver? Thanks, and cheers, Andy

From what I have come across on the used market, MOST of them are daily drivers. I think the C5 will make a fine daliy driver - they were built to be driven, not stored away in garages and barns! :)

Glad to hear ytour keeping her. I use mine as a daily driver cause i can only afford one car and I have no complaints, just means a little more work keeping her looking nice

Thanks

Thanks ya'll. I'm actually looking forward to commuting each day in the Corvette. I'm sure there will be compromises, but isn't life nothing but a compromise? (Way too philosophical) This is much better: What better way to start the day than to begin it driving my Corvette! And leaving work at work will be just that much easier. Cheers, Andy

Andy, my Z06 is my daily driver. Trust me, on rides home from work at the end of the a long, frustrating, excruciating day in the salt mines where I work, my Z06 is the best possible companion for the ride home. Depending on my mood, I may take the "fast" route home, or the scenic route. Either way, I arrive home with a smile on my face.

I can think of no better car for a daily driver than a Corvette, and I'm confident after a few weeks of driving it every day, you'll concur!

Thanks

Thanks, ya'll (I grew up in the South--some habits are hard to break). I'm looking forward to putting that smile on my face every day, instead of just the special days I drive it to work now.:)
Cheers, Andy
