Interesting article. I'm leaning towards keeping the veterans drivers. Maybe because these are the guys I grew up with. They have paid their dues and as long as they can get the right equipment I think they can still compete.

I'm going to the Busch race here in St. Louis this Saturday. We have a friend who works for Hendrick who will be up here for the race even though he works on Casey Mear's crew. Hendricks has a developmental driver (Landon Cassell) they are bringing up so it will be interesting to see if this kid has the talent. We've got infield passes so I'm sure I'll get to meet all the Hendrick's guys.

Talked with Steven Leight last year at the Busch race. Nice guy but he looked like he should still be in 8th grade! I'm starting to feel my age.
