I’m looking to install a set of headers.. I will not be racing, I just want to improve the street performance.. :D What do you recommend and what’s the cost…? I’m not looking to spend my retirement on a set of headers. :eek Long or short tube? :confused

Hi Nick,

I wouldn't spend money on shorty headers. Your stock exhaust manifolds are pretty efficient. Your only gain there will be cosmetic.

I've had the FLP headers on my roadster for about a year and a half now and I love them. Paired up with the Corsa Indies, they gave my car a beautiful exhaust note and about 19 rwhp/21 rwtqe.

I have been using the hi-flo cats that were supplied and did not need the '02 simulators. FLP also supplies off-road pipes which I've heard on other cars and is too loud for my taste.
I love my FLPs and have gotten many compliments on the exhaust sound.
It is absolutely incredible at wide open throttle and very quiet at cruising 2100RPM and below.

Check 'em out at FLP's site.

You can't beat 'em for the money. They include the full length long tube headers, an X pipe, high-flo cats, and off road pipes. The whole system completely bolts on..no welding.

You can pay more, but why?
For your driving (like mine) these are a very good product.

Best regards,

Pedro

I took a look at these and they look great but, $1500 is a little too much for me...

Will you be installing them yourself or do you want an installed price.

I strongly recommend the kooks Stainless steel setup.

STAINLESS STEEL ..is worth the extra money in my opinion.

I have the FLP's and they are great but...they are not stainless steel and I believe in hindsight I should have gone with stainless steel.

Email me if you want more information.

HTH..

I was going to do the install myself but I was looking at the Ceramic coated headers.

wait till you can afford the good stuff................
