Heading south

Remo,
You're therapy this year is going to include a certain amount of 'tough' love. This means that when Tammy, Guy and I agree that you have gotten too close the edge, Guy will go over and slap some sense into you. It isn't that we don't love you, it's that we need to reach the logic center of your brain, and in the middle of February, when you're suffering from extreme Corvette withdrawal, reaching your logic center requires the right stimulus.

Pain.

Stay well this winter, Remo. For your sake, stay well this winter.:D

-Patrick

Dear Dr. Patrick,

I agree with your "tough" love theropy. But instead of having Guy come over and slap me around - how about sending one of those "girls gone wild" chicks? I'm sure I could convince Mrs. Remo that these girls are really "visiting" nurses. I took a look at my medical plan and sure enough I'm covered for home theropy visits. Thanks Dr. Patrick - I think I'll do much better this winter.

I need lots of help.....:W :W

I hate the winter, heck I even have a season light to help me.

Patient Remo,
The problem with your modification is that errs more on the "love" side than the "tough." Remember, in the dead of February, those of us who have been around CAC long enough to experienced a winter KNOW how desperate your Corvette Separation Anxiety (CSA) gets.

According to the Journal for Corvette Owners Psychology, appropriate therapies for CSA should not include anything that puts the owner in an excited state, as that would be simulating the sort of state of excitation Corvette Owners experience while driving. We can resort to distraction techniques however.

Distraction Technique No. 1: Take a seat on the couch and tell me about your childhood, Remo. :L

Darn it! This is not working out the way I thought it would. So before we get into my misguided childhood, I'd like to get a second opinion from Dr. Schroder.

Glad you got some sun ,what did it look like? News couldn't get any worse on this end. Hurricane Wilma category 5 heading for florida (orlando prob.) then straight up I 95 to New england. The car and i decided to leave the 26th. but doesn't look good.Worse than that snow flurries in the mountains and frost in the low lands.I could be trapped.

I just assumed it was the sun since I forgot what it looked like ;).

Bad news can't leave thanks to Wilma. And the next time period i can get out of work is Nov 30th.Wonder what the roads will be like then.Plus look at this rain ,it never stops.

Vett Boy, Wilma didn't do much in the way of damage here in the Orlando area, so you should be ok for travel, etc. As a "transplanted" Mainer,(Bangor) I know the urge to get out of the "frozen chosen" as quickly as possible this time of the year. Maine weather gets even more depressing when April of May arrives, and it is still cold and dreary. We really enjoy our time in FL, despite the hurricanes. Have a safe and enjoyable trip to the sunshine state.

Ron

Thanks Ron for the update.Wilma or her sister is in our front yard. But i'm comin' sooner or later.I will not be here in Jan. See you have a silver vert, great cars .--Steve
