My "eyeballs" operate just fine open and closing, however, I noticed today that after the right headlamp is completely open (or completely closed) the right motor seems to run 10 seconds afterwards while the left one stops the second it has finished the cycle. They both operate together and seems to be fine. Any reason for this? Is something on the right one out of adjustment? ;shrug

I just did mine in my 90 convertible. No big deal, got the bushings off ebay for 5 bucks, and thier is a step by step instructions from Mid America from this site. I did have to get new roll pins from Lowes also . Mid America has some great tech articles , just look them up. It took me a couple of hours to do the job. The tech articles are very helpful. Good luck, not too difficult if you have mechanical skills all all.

i replaced my left and right motor after one failed to start and hung up when I opened them..... Since I installed the new ones i have noticed that ONE side (the right one) is SLOWER than the left one, like there is a 3 sec delay....these were NOS motors i bought off ebay and now i think they were bad to begin with( and i bid too much for them ) UGHHG anyway from the symptoms , does it sound like the right might need new bushings or is that a natural flaw, that one will be a little slower that the left motor......... I hate it, and it irks me that this happens when i open the lights, it will get hung up at driving speeds too....it OPENS Half way and stops.....

.....should i take it off the car and have it rebuilt ( Take the gears out and put the brass ones in.?

Would replacing the bushings Help improve it any....You know before i spend any more on it i'd like to have these working right when i drive and have them open properly
