Headlight and Pothole Problem

After unfortunately riding through a series of jarring potholes Friday night (caught in traffic with no place to go), my left headlight assembly now "bounces and shakes" visibly. It is also possible to move the entire assembly up and down about 3/8 inch when the lights are up -- the right side does not do this. Beam alignment also looks to be visibly lower.

Before I dig into the assembly, has anyone else fixed this? Is it the stops? The motors?

The lights were rock steady before this incident. :hb

Hi there,
You can reference the attached here.
#4 and #5 are the ones that separate from each other.
The stop may have popped off the bracket.
They are available separately, as 16524060 for the stops.

ANOTHER HEADLIGHT PROBLEM?

Both headlights on my 04 dont open ? When I left for my ride last night, they both worked fine. I just pulled into the drive...turned the car off to open the garage door and when I got back in....NOTHING! They seem to be turning on and I can see that the brights flash when I pull the lever but the doors just dont open.
I have checked fuses and they are fine.
Where do I look next??? Anybody have this problem or any suggestions?;shrug

Wow Al, that must have been some pothole. I would listen to what c4c5 suggests for sure. In the meantime, I would double check the wiring connections and grounds. From what I recall, the harness plugs are huge with quite a few wires.
