Headlight Motor keeps trying

94 LT1 Coupe.

When I turn off my headlights, the passenger side motor keeps trying to close the headlight, even if it's closed already. It clicks several times for about 10-15 seconds and then stops. Is there an adjustment or something that is not telling it that it's closed, or anything else I can check?

The bushings in the drive gears need to be replaced. They are cheap but the repair is a little time consuming. Do a search here for this and you should find several threads discussing this issue and how to effect the repair.

Thanks, Tuna. I had done a search, but I guess I didn't use the right keywords or spellings, or something. I found instructions and the bushings that are needed.

Great sites! Thanks. Anyone know why they still make these bushings out of material that will turn to powder? Is is because something in there has to, so it might as well be a cheap little plastic piece?
