Hey all,

I bought two sets of the plastic bushings for my headlights. The passenger side one doesn't open all the time (it will with a few tries though) and thanks to the fine folks here at the CAC, I decided to rebuild.

I got the bushings today and have gotten as far as taking the headlight off the car. I got some directions with the bushings but they're not very clear. It says to push out the coter pin. Thing is, I don't see a coter pin anywhere.

Any suggestions?

Can you post some pictures of the headlight? I faintly remember how to disassemble it

The cotter pin is located on the mechanism that swings next to the motor. The pin holds the mechanism together, and need to be removed along with the the part that swings, in order to get the area where the bushings are located.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Looks like this will be an all day project! The directions that came with the bushing really stink, they're not detailed at all. Thanks for the link Anna!
