On my 68 coupe,I'm having problems getting the headlight doors to open and close. I checked the vacume andits getting it from the engine, from there it goes into a manifold behind the right front wheel and then into the canister.Vacume doesn't seem to even be coming into the canister. What about the headlight swith, how does it tell the rest of the system to operate? Any help will be appreciated,Thanks

I just finished my headlight project and let me tell you, it can be a frustrating job. However it is rather simple after you get the basics of the system. There a couple of good sites out there that are really helpful. Also try doing a search on the forum here for vacuum, you will get a ton of results. One thing I highly recommend is the purchase of a handheld pump. It really makes things alot easier. here are the sites:

I'm also sure that you will find the answers, if you search through the forums here.

I've downloaded alot of the imfo you guys came up with, and I think it will help. at least it's a start. I got this car last summer and have not even had a chance to enjoy it yet, but spring will be here shortly and I'll be ready.Buy the way I traded my 93 Harley for this car,you guys think I'm nuts?

Nope. I had a couple bikes too. I am very happy to have my corvette instead of a bike. My car is convertible, so I still feel a bit 'part of my environment', but I feel much safer in a car than a bike.

Well, I do miss the openess of the bike, but I can take out the tops and the back glass come out on my car, almost a roadster.I perfer the roadster, but a coupe is the only thing that the guy would trade for the bike. My car isa original 427 car,I have a motor for it, just have to build it,for now it's got a hot little mouse motor that will have to do! I just hope the girls like the Vette as much as the bike.
