Hi all,

I just noticed that my drivers side low beam is out. Before I attempt replacing it, can someone give me some directions to remove and replace them? I took a quick look at the bezel and don't know how to remove the bulb.

Thanks in advance

Robert

The headlight bezel has two screws on top and one on either side--once in awhile you need to remove the headlight washer nozel (1/2 inch, you can get to it from the opening on the bottom, if you have to hold the nozel, I believe thats 7/16)--now you have access to the headlight retaining ring--it has 3 small phillips screws(a good idea to put some penetrating oil on them before you try and loosen them) pull off the ring and you can disconnect the bulb( a good oportunity to clean the FO( a cutip and rubbing alcohol works well)--replace bulb, reassemble and check function--good luck--Dave

Thanks Dave, I'll give it a go tonight. I don't want to acidentally hurt my baby.

Robert.

Mission accomplished. The only problem was that the bulb was a T3!!! The other low beam had been replaced, but both high beams are also T3's. Can the Bulbs be rebuilt, or can replacement T3's still be had?

Robert

Thanks Tom, Lectriclimited has a great website. I'll give them a go for sure.

Thanks again.

Robert

The T-3's are nice for NCRS judging or car shows, possible even nostalgia--but are pretty worthless for night driving. Look up the definition of "overdriving your headlights". The halogen replacements are quite an improvement--just a thought:)
