During day light after coming out of a tunnel it will take about 5 minuets for the doors to close on my headlights. Is there a way to adjust the time so they will close quicker or can they be turned of during the day?

HI there,
If you go into Options on your DIC, you will see Twilight sentinel DELAY. if you use the #1 or #2 button you can tailor your on time of the lights.

Automatic Headlights and DRL Module?

Interesting, I just bought a 1992 from Texas and brought it back to canada where daytime running lights are a mandatory requirement for safety inspection. I had another 1992 a few years ago that was built for shipment to Canada so it had automatic DRLs. My Texas car does not have this feature activated beacuse:

a) GM did not install DRL modules in cars built for the US
b) The DRL module was installed but GM put different headlight switches and/or headlight control modules on US and Canada cars.
c) A code can be set to turn on/off the automatic DRL feature.

I do not know if any of these are the correct answers but I sure would like to know the answer to this question. So far, I have had a GM dealership rip apart my dash looking for the answer. The only result was a broken headlight switch and a lot more questions.

Any ideas?
