Well we took the vette out for a spin the other day and day turned into night. Flipped the headlights up and all 4 lights were turned on (they're dim so I need the brights on as well)
About a mile from home, the brights turned off my themselves (the bright indicator on the dash went out as well)
Then just as I was pulling in the driveway, the main lights went out as well.
The headlights stayed up and closed when I pushed in the knob.
I am really thinking it's electrical but don't know where to begin. Are there any known points of failure that I can look at first before tracing and testing all the wires?
Thanks!

Check the frame ground wires that come off the headlamp connectors. They are black, and are wired together to both sets of headlights. Find the connection point where the wies come together and follow it to the frame and clean up the contacts under the bolt head.
If that doesn't work, check for voltage at the lamp connector. If none, check for a blown fuse, or bad dashboard switch, or bad dimmer switch.
