I am considering putting on the heads and cam package offered by West Coast Corvetts and adding the new Holley intake manifold as well. I paln to have the manifold ports matched to the heads. I am wondering if any modifications to the computer will be required as far as timing and the like?

Hi there,
Anytime there is a major modification like heads and cam, you must reprogram your PCM to work correctly with the mods.
Utilizing stock programming is almost useless, as there are timing, fuel, and o2 sensors that will need to change the way they work, to correctly extract the power from the mod.

Your 2001 already has an LS-6 intake manifold. Is the Holley supposed to flow more than that LS-6 manifold? ;shrug If so, is it enough to justify the $500+ for it? Good Luck.....:beer

I thought a reprogram would be the case. Thanks. As far as the intake, I am aware that it is the Z06 spec, however, the Holley will be match ported for better flow and look real nice when I have it polished:)
