The car seems to overheat on hot days and idleing in traffic. What should I do?Also any good mech in south or west part of minneapolis? Burnsville or Prior Lake area.

They were designed to run hot.

1. Turning your AC on runs your fans.
2. Reprogram your fans to come on @ a lower temp.
3. Install a manual fan switch.
4. Drive over 70 all the time. :D

Hi Fats,

How hot does it get? These things tend to run pretty warm. Have you cleaned out the crud from between the radiators?

I don't know of any Vette shops down this way. The only specialty shops I know of are in Blaine, Anoka, and another that is either in Golden Valley or St. Louis Park. For a good general mechanic, I would recommend Southcross Auto at 3910 County Road 42 (Eagan Drive) in Savage.

Good luck,
John
