Heater and AC Control

When both control levers are all the way to the left at the off position should the fan continue to run? 80 model year.

I know my 82 doesn't. I don't see why the 80 would.

Mine does, but the vents to let air flow into the car should be closed. Not sure why it does this, I unplug the electircal connector in the summer so it doesn't move hot air. I have had many chevys do the same thing, I never thought much of it till now

As tweek says ... many gm's fans run slowly when controls are off. Whether it's correct to call it Astro Ventilation or not ... that's basically the jist of it.
