Ok I lost the blower on my heater and I traced to an orange wire on the passenger's side in the engine compartment. There looks as though there is an inline fuse and the casing on mine opened up and dropped the fuse. Does any one know what amperage that fuse is? I can't find it on any of the wire diagrams.

I believe 20 amp

I'll check tonight!

I have a similar problem. Heater Blower squeeked when running then it blew the same fuse as you mentioned. I replaced the fuse 20 amp but still no blower. Any ideas??

thanks for the help vig

I await your answer on the fuse amperage.

If your blower was squealing blew the fuse and died the blower motor may be shot, or it could just be a loose connection in the wiring.

CON fused

Mine is a 25 amp.

If the motor was squealing and then the fuse blew..( but the squealing stopped) your motor has seized/blown.

wrc,
My books shows this:

Heater/air conditioning - 25 amp 3AG fuse - in the fuse panel
High Blower Speed (air con) - 30 amp AGC fuse (in-line)

Good luck!

Check the relay switch, on firewall near blower.
4 wires, two smaller guage go to relay coil which then
complete the circuit for the two larger guage wires.
It's a metal box 1" x 2" wires plug in the underside.
