heater core removal

hi i need a new heater core for my 79. it doesnt have a/c. ive looked in the manual and all i have to do is take the cover off teh fire wall and remove the core. is it that easy or is there a catch. also what heater core should i get. ive seen them as low as 33 bucks at auto zone near me with a lifetime warrenty to 50 at corvette america, 67 at ecklers and 100 at mid america.

Yep its that easy although sometimes its a pita to get out if you have certain style headers.Buy the Autozone one.Usually ,when it comes to parts there arent many companies making the same part so more than likely everyone carries the same exact part.
