HEI electronic distributor wires

Can anyone tell me what each of the 4 wires going into the body of an 81 computer controlled distributor are for?
(not the ones in the cap)

This diagram is for an '84...but I would assume the 4-wire connector you're asking about would be the same for an 81 HEI, though the wire colors may be different (C206 in the picture):

The 4-wire connector signals are:

Pos and Neg distributor pulse to ECM

HEI spark timing signal (based on input from ESC module?)

HEI bypass (for setting the base timing, by disconnecting C474 in that picture)

Yes, that tells me what they hook to, guess I'd have to be more of an electronics engineer to figure out how some of them function, though.
