I'm in the process of installing a new brake booster (see here), and I can't get the clevis off of the old booster.
I've tried grabbing the shaft (the little of it that I can get to) with vise-grips, but no luck on keeping them solid - the shaft just ends up rotating anyway.
Is there some trick to getting it off?
If I can't get it off, is this something I'll be able to find at my local Napa, or do I need to order it special?
Any help would be appreciated - I'm stuck until I can get that clevis off!
