I graciously hope someone out there has an answer to this problem i have been having. periodically when I apply the brakes while drivingor even at a stop, the brakes will continue to grab after I release them...you can feel them grabing as you pull away from a stop..I have to hook my foot under the peddle and slightly pull up on it to release the drag... I have taken the peddle apart under the dash to see it it is binding and it swings absolutly free, no friction what so ever, the rod is not bent that goes through the fire wall either.I have bled the brake and there is no air present. There will be times that i pull into the garage and turn the car off only to find when i get out the brake lights are on and have to pull up on the peddle to release the pressure. the brake switch is ok as well. can someone please help or know of someone who has had this predicament happen to them and had it cured. thank you in advance.

HI there,
There is a TSB for this condition in the knowledgebase here, for the 2001 models.
This is for a sticking vacuum brake booster. If you replace the booster, you will fix your problem.

Thank you very much,,I caught the thread right after i posted the problem. MY car is just a few months out of warrenty with only 12k on it. I printed out the thred and took it to the local dealer and thy are graciously repairing the problem free of charge, it is going to take a few days to get the part in.
