Help for Instrument cluster project

I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has, or knows of anyone who has had experience, in the installation of " Autometer " gauges, in a mid-year Corvette instrument cluster.

I remember having seen in the past a firm that has done the conversion but I would like to do the labor myself, and not have to re-invent the wheel in the process,,,

I did that for my Grand Sport, but didn't use a production die-cast cluster housing; I made my own from .090" T6 aluminum and had it brush-finished and clear-anodized.
